Kanoposu Highway - Kanoposu Oji

...The prosperity of the city at that time can only be seen from classical writings. According to Deinocrates' original plan, the city blocks were divided into an orderly grid pattern on either side of the 28m-wide Canopic Avenue running east to west, and there were even regulations on the spacing of houses. The city area was about 8.4km east to west and 1.2km north to south, and was divided into five districts (the second district is said to have been added in Roman times).
