Kawayu [Hot spring] - Kawayu
This hot spring is a national health resort located in Motomiya Town, Higashimuro County, Wakayama Prefecture (now Tanabe City). It has simple spring water and other springs. 73°C. It has been known since the Edo period, and hot spring inns have been established here. It is located along the Ooto River, a tributary of the Kumano River, and has an open-air bath on the riverbank. It is part of Yoshino-Kumano National Park.

Kawayu [Hot spring] [Kawayu]

Located in Teshikaga Town, eastern Hokkaido, on the northern foot of Atosanupuri in Akan National Park. The hot springs are highly acidic and abundant. Acidic springs containing hydrogen sulfide. Temperatures range from 30 to 65.5°C. It is the base for exploring Akan, including Lake Mashu, and is accessible by bus from Kawayu Onsen Station on the Senmo Main Line.
