Kazinga Waterway - Kazinga Waterway

The Semliki River flows out from the north bank and flows into Lake Albert in the north-northeast, where it becomes the White Nile. It is connected to Lake George in the northeast by the Kazinga Canal. The water is highly alkaline (rich in tilapia, a type of cichlid fish), and the surrounding area is densely infested with tsetse flies and Anopheles mosquitoes, making it unsuitable for life.
