Ushido ware - Ushido ware

...Sweetfish fishing and sake brewing are popular, and Gosho persimmons and Nijisseiki pears are cultivated in the foothills of the Sanki and Kunifusa regions. Folk art pottery Ushido ware is a specialty of the area. The upper reaches of the Hikida River are a scenic spot of the Mitaki Gorge, and Hikida is said to be the legendary site of Yakamihime and the White Rabbit, mentioned in the Kojiki.
