After that, foreign music and dance were imported one after another from countries such as Goguryeo (together with the music of Silla and Baekje, it was called Samhanraku), Tang, Dora (the prevailing theory is that it was an ancient state located in the Menam River basin in present-day Thailand), Linyu (present-day central Vietnam), and Bohai (present-day northeastern China), and began to be performed by Japanese people. On the other hand, primitive Japanese music, including the ritual music and dance of the previous era, was gradually reorganized and restructured under the influence of the aforementioned foreign music. ...
