Foreign exchange statistics - gaikoku kawase tokei

The balance of payments is a record of the state of foreign trade. It is used to record the state of foreign trade.

In Japan's case, the official record of the balance of payments was the Foreign Exchange Statistics until 1966, but since then, the IMF-style balance of payments table, which follows the Balance of Payments Manual issued by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), has become the official record. This balance of payments table records all economic transactions between residents (basically individuals and corporations whose economic activities are based in their home country, regardless of nationality or borders) and non-residents (including overseas branches, offices, and representative offices of domestic companies, foreign military personnel in their home country, and diplomats, etc.) for a certain period (the minimum unit is one month).
