Heavy Expulsion - Jutsuihou
One of the punishments in the Edo period. The most severe form of banishment. Compulsory appeal Okay. Those who attempted to commit crimes were punished. Fields and houses were confiscated, and commoners were prohibited from living in the areas where crimes were committed, their home provinces, or within 10 ri of Edo. Samurai were also prohibited from entering areas where crimes were committed, their home provinces, the Kanto region, the Kyoto area, or the Tokaido highway. →Light banishment →Medium banishment
