《Notice》 - Notice

...A collection of laws and regulations from the Edo Shogunate. In the Edo Shogunate, ordinary individual laws and regulations were issued in the form of Gotakusho (decrees) when necessary. Those addressed to a narrow range of people or government offices were called Otatsushi (decrees).
