Obunokami - God of the Clover

...A god who protects women and newborn babies without aversion to impurity both before and after childbirth. Also called Ubusama, Unokami, Obunokami, etc. Both Ubu and Ob come from the same root as Umu, which means birth, but in southern Ehime Prefecture, the soul of a child is called Ubu.
