In contrast, Sanada Yukitsuna's book starts with the date, followed by the articles about leaving the house, going to the castle, checking on the Shogun's mood, summons, and leaving, and is based on the Osodeura Hikae, in which the time, names of attendants, and whether or not there was a summons are written in red ink. It is thought that the Shogunate's Oku-uhitsu instructed the Ankotobugyo, selected from the vassals of the Elders, to write the Elders' schedule for the next day, and the Elders themselves would carry the book in their sleeves as a reference for their work that day, adding red ink as necessary. …

…なお将軍面前における当日の予定は，別に折本様のものに記されている。これに対し真田幸貫のものは，日付の次に出宅，登城，御機嫌伺，召出，退出の記事が冒頭にあり，時刻，側衆（そばしゆう）名，召出有無などが朱加筆される《御袖裏扣（おそでうらひかえ）》が原型である。これは幕府奥右筆が老中の家臣から選ばれた案詞奉行らを指導して，翌日の老中の予定を書かせ，一方老中はこれを袖に入れて当日の仕事の参考にし，必要により朱加筆していったと考えられる。…
