Australian Marxism

...It is an ideology born out of the close cooperation between Marx and Engels, and its original purpose is to criticize and overcome the inherent aspects of modern bourgeois society. However, its influence goes beyond the simple critique of bourgeois society, and it has played a leading role in the world revolutionary movement from the last quarter of the 19th century to the present day. Sometimes it is mechanically linked to Lenin's ideology (Leninism) and is called "Marxism = Leninism," but here we will limit our discussion to Marxism proper.
