...There are no special arrangements other than the designated location for participants. The other is called Okpobuhie (meaning "playing an instrument while people sleep"), and is held on a large scale on special occasions such as naming newborns, weddings, funerals, and other rites of passage, by professional storytellers who play the akpata (a seven-string guitar of Congo origin). There is no strict difference in the content of the stories told by the two groups, and a wide range of subjects are chosen from people's everyday experiences and Oba legends (such as the conquest wars of the Benin kings).
