…隠岐や五島の宇久島などでは，納戸神は田の神とされ，春と秋に納戸と田を去来する伝承を伴っている。兵庫県佐用郡上月町では，納戸神はオクノカミ，ウチノカミと呼ばれ，女の神で作神と信じられ，毎月1,15日にまつるほか，正月には年棚に米，餅，栗，柿を供え，亥子には升に餅を入れて供えるという。このように納戸神は正月の神，田の神，作神，女の神といわれるが，このほか子どもの神，婦人病の神，夫婦神，安産の神ともされ，おもに人や稲の多産豊穣にかかわる神になっている。…
