Athanasius

A church father and theologian of the ancient Christian church. Saint, Bishop of Alexandria (328-373). After the Council of Nicaea, he continued to fight against the Arian sect and contributed greatly to the establishment of the orthodox doctrine of the Trinity. However, the theory that he drafted the Athanasian Creed is questioned. His main works are On the Incarnation, Against the Arians, and The Life of St. Anthony.
