...Simazine and atrazine in particular are known to have no herbicidal activity against corn. Bromacil and oxadiazon are known as diazine herbicides, the latter of which is effective against annual weeds such as barnyard grass and pine grosbeak in paddy fields. Diphenyl ether herbicides include NIP (unregistered), CNP, chlomethoxynil, etc., and are widely used as soil treatment agents before and after transplanting in paddy fields.
