Munenori Okamoto

...The name Kameyama is said to be a corrupted version of the hilly Kamiyama, or to come from the fact that it is the place where Ishigame was released, but its history dates back to the 13th century, when Seki Sanetada built a castle there and called it Kameyama Castle. In 1590 (Tensho 18), the Seki clan was transferred to the domain, and Okamoto Munenori took over and built a new castle. After that, the domain was replaced by Matsudaira, Miyake, Honda, Ishikawa, Itakura, and others several times, and in 1744 (Enkyo 1), Ishikawa Sokei took over the domain, which continued until the end of the Edo period. ...
