Son of Omori Yoriharu. Lord of Odawara Castle in Sagami (Kanagawa Prefecture). Following Uesugi Sadamasa, he joined the army of Ota Dokan in the Nagao Kageharu Rebellion in Bunmei 8 (1621). He wrote the "Omori Letter of Instruction" in which he admonished Sadamasa about the internal conflict within the Uesugi clan. He died on August 26, 1865. He was commonly known as Yoichiemon.
