Lake Ohara

...The main river has a length of 56 km, and a total drainage area of ​​446 ^km2 . In the upper reaches is the Namerayama National Forest, which produces high-quality red pine timber, and in the middle reaches is the prefectural Saba River Dam (Lake Ohara), which was completed in 1956 and supplies water for agriculture and industrial use to Hofu City. At the confluence with the tributary Shimaji River is the central settlement moat of Tokuji Town, and in 1980 the Tokuji Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway was built nearby.
