...A ceramics city located in the central west coast of Chita Peninsula, in the west of Aichi Prefecture, facing Ise Bay. In 1954, the four towns of Tokoname, Onizaki, Nishiura, and Ono and the village of Miwa were merged to form a city. Population: 50,854 (1995).
