A theater located in Namba-Shinchi, Chuo Ward, Osaka City. Its predecessor was the Osaka Kabukiza located in Sennichimae, which was built by Shochiku Co., Ltd. in October 1932 (Showa 7) and was the center of Kansai Kabuki for a long time, but closed in April 1958 (Showa 33). To succeed it, the Shin Kabukiza was built by Senchi Kogyo in October of the same year. In recent years, it has mainly been used for commercial theater performances. It has a five-story Momoyama-style karahafu-style exterior and does not have a revolving stage, but a sliding stage. It can accommodate 1,638 people.
