Okubo (Gunma) - Ookubo

...Livestock farming is the main industry, but grapes, apples, and other fruits are also cultivated. Influenced by the kokeshi doll production in the neighboring city of Soja, Maebashi, modern kokeshi dolls are made in Okubo in the south. Since the late 1960s, the number of commuters to Maebashi and Shibukawa has increased, and the population has also increased.
