The Three Five Important Things - Kamikakete Sango Taisetsu

Japanese: 盟三五大切 - かみかけてさんごたいせつ

Kabuki kyogen. Sewamono. 2 acts, 6 scenes. Written by Tsuruya Nanboku IV. First performed at the Edo Nakamuraza in September 1825 (Bunsei 8). The cast included Matsumoto Koshiro V as Satsuma Gengobeiji, Fuwa Kazuemon, and the head of the household Yasuke, Ichikawa Danjuro VII as the boatman Sasanoya Sangoro, and Iwai Kumesaburo II (later Iwai Hanshiro VI) as the geisha Daki Koman. The subject is the murder of five Satsuma samurai that occurred in Sonezaki, Osaka in 1737 (Genbun 2). It is a rewrite based on Namiki Gohei I's Godairikikoi no Fuujime, written in 1794 (Kansei 6), and Namiki Gohei himself's own revision of the same work, Kakakireoshite Sango Taisetsu.

歌舞伎狂言。世話物。2幕6場。4世鶴屋南北作。1825年(文政8)9月江戸中村座初演。配役は薩摩源五兵衛実は不破数右衛門･家主弥助を5世松本幸四郎，船頭笹野屋三五郎を7世市川団十郎，芸者妲妃の小万を2世岩井粂三郎(のちの6世岩井半四郎)など。題材は1737年(元文2)に大坂曾根崎で起きた薩摩藩士の5人斬り事件で，初世並木五瓶が94年(寛政6)に書いた《五大力恋緘（ごだいりきこいのふうじめ）》と，これを本人が改作した《略三五大切（かきなおしてさんごたいせつ）》とを基にした書替えである。
