Mount Oasahi

Mount Oasahi
A mountain on the border between Yamagata and Niigata prefectures. It is 1,871 meters above sea level. It is located in the southern part of the Asahi Mountains and is the main peak of the mountain range. It belongs to Bandai-Asahi National Park. It has been selected as one of Kyuya Fukada's "100 Famous Mountains of Japan." It is also called Mt. Asahi.
