The Rebellion of Wang Xiaobo and Li Shun

…In 995 (Zhidao 1), the leader of the time, Zhang Yu, was killed by the superior Song army, and the rebellion came to an end. This rebellion is also called the Wang Xiaobo-Li Shun Rebellion. In the early Southern Song Dynasty, Zhongsang, a local lord who organized a volunteer army to resist the Jin, was also the head of a local religion influenced by Manichaeism that believed in equal wealth. However, he was suspected by the Song Dynasty and revolted under the slogan "Equal nobility and lowliness, equal wealth and poverty" (1130). …
