This shrine is located in the Ikutate area of Miyako-cho, Kyoto-gun, Fukuoka Prefecture, near Prefectural Route 34. It was formerly a prefectural shrine. It is famous for the Shinko Festival "Ikutate Hachiman Shrine Yamakasa" (prefecturally designated intangible cultural property) held in May.
