Embark - Embark

...A chemical used to promote or suppress the physiological functions of crops and other things. A wide range of physiological phenomena, such as plant germination, root formation, growth, flower bud differentiation, flowering, fruit set, leaf fall, and fruit drop, are the subject of control and regulation, and many chemicals have been developed for this purpose. At present, this type of chemical accounts for a fairly low proportion of all pesticides in use, at around 2%, but it is expected that their range of use will expand in the future. At present, the following chemicals are known to be in practical use as plant growth regulators:
