A management term. A method for setting standard times for the execution of individual process tasks in time research. It was proposed by HB Maynard, GJ Stegmarten, and JL Schwab of the American electrical equipment company Westinghouse Electric. Task time is calculated by classifying actions into nine elements, such as moving, turning, and grasping.
