[Pruning methods and tools]
To create the basic shape, large branches are cut off with a large saw or similar tool (bough cutting). Next, to refine the shape, unsuitable branches are cut off with scissors, a saw, or a sickle (branch cutting). Finally, to further refine and correct the shape, overgrown branches and protruding branches are cut off with scissors (scissors cutting).
