A shogunate official and feudal lord in the pre- and mid-Edo period. Commonly known as Magoichi and Kakubei. His biological father was Kano Masanao. He was the adopted son of Kano Kakubei Hisamasa, a samurai of the Kishu (Wakayama) domain. He served the fifth lord, Tokugawa Yoshimune, as a servant and head clerk. In 1716, when his lord Yoshimune inherited the shogunate, he became a shogunate official, was appointed to the newly established position of attendant attendant, was given 1,000 koku of land, and was appointed Omi no Kami (later Totomi no Kami), Junior Fifth Rank. The following year, he was given an additional 1,000 koku, and in 1721, he was given an additional 8,000 koku, making him a daimyo with a fief of 10,000 koku. Together with his colleague Arima Ujimichi, he played a major role in the reform politics of the Kyoho era, but after Yoshimune retired in 1745, he was transferred to the position of Nishinomaru Wakadoshiyori. Hisamichi was said to have been "gentle and modest" in nature and was highly trusted by Yoshimune.

江戸前・中期の幕臣,大名。通称は孫市,角兵衛。実父は加納政直。紀州(和歌山)藩士加納角兵衛久政の養子。5代藩主徳川吉宗に仕え,御用役兼番頭となる。享保1(1716)年主君吉宗の将軍家相続に伴って幕臣となり,新設の御側御用取次に就任し,采地1000石を与えられ,従五位下近江守(のち遠江守)に叙任。翌2年1000石,11年8000石を加増され,1万石の大名に取り立てられた。同僚の有馬氏倫と共に享保の改革政治に参画して大きな役割を果たしたが,延享2(1745)年吉宗の隠退後,西ノ丸若年寄に転出した。久通は「おいらかにつつしみふか」い性格で,吉宗の信頼が厚かったという。
