...The group expanded into the newly built Tokyo Theater, and then to the Shinjuku Shochikuza and then the Kabukiza. In 1957, the group was renamed the Shochiku Girls' Opera Department (SSK), and after the dispute was resolved the following year, it became the Shochiku Girls' Opera Company (SSKD), and at the same time established the Shochiku Girls' Opera School. In 1962, the newly built Asakusa International Theater, which could accommodate 3,600 people, opened, and this became the group's home base.
