A family tree that lists portraits of successive generations. It was mainly created from the Middle Ages to the early modern period. Examples include the "E Keizu of the Shrines of Wakasa Province," which depicts portraits of successive head priests of the first and second shrines of Wakasa Province; the "E Keizu of Temples," which shows the lineage of master and disciple, at Bukkoji Temple; and the "E Keizu of Monto" at Komyo-ji Temple, which has been created from the Middle Ages to the present day. Along with old drawings, they are attracting attention as pictorial materials. Other examples of this type include the "Eki-e of Tenshi Sekkan" (created during the Nanboku-cho period) kept by the Imperial Household Agency as an imperial treasure, and the "Eki-e of the Emperor Sekkan" (late Kamakura period) in the Tokugawa Art Museum. 歴代の肖像画を連ねた系図。中世から近世にかけて主として作られた。若狭国鎮守一二宮の祢宜歴代の「似絵」が描かれている『若狭国鎮守神人絵系図』や,師弟の血脈 (けちみゃく) を示す仏光寺『寺絵系図』,中世から現代まで作られ続けている光明寺の『門徒絵系図』などがある。古絵図などとともに,絵画資料として注目されている。御物として宮内庁に保管されている『天子摂関御影』 (南北朝時代成立) や徳川美術館蔵の『天皇摂関御影』 (鎌倉時代末期) も同類である。
