Urabe Kanesuke

...The diary of the head of the Shinto Michinagakami Urabe (Yoshida) family, Shinto Daifukane Uhyoe no Kami Juni Kaneyoshi (?-1573). With the inclusion of fragments, it is a lengthy diary that begins on October 9, 1532 (Tenbun 1) and ends on March 23, 1572 (Genki 3). Not only does it provide insight into the trends in the Imperial Court and the religious world, especially the Shinto world, from the end of the Muromachi period to the beginning of the Warring States period, but it also describes the conditions in the regions such as Iga and Echizen where Kaneyoshi visited.
