…Dayan Khan bestowed this territory on his fifth son, Arju Bolat, and his youngest son, Geresenje, in the early 16th century. Arju's descendants remained in Inner Mongolia as Inner Khalkha, and spread south to the Liaohe River and westward, becoming Balin (Balin), Jalut (Jalut), and other areas. On the other hand, Geresenje's descendants were called Outer Khalkha, and when the Uryankhai tribe in the Hentei Mountains was destroyed, they moved westward to the same area, and in 1552, as a result of Altan Khan's attack on the Oirats, they spread to the Khangai Mountains, and came close to the distribution of the Khalkhas today. …

…ダヤン･ハーンは16世紀初めに第5子アルジュ･ボラトと末子ゲレセンジェに，これを所領として与えた。アルジュの子孫は内ハルハとして内モンゴルにとどまり，南下して遼河およびそれ以西に広がり，今のバーリン(巴林)，ジャルート(札魯特)などになった。一方，ゲレセンジェの子孫は外ハルハといい，ヘンテイ山脈方面のウリヤンハイ族が滅亡したとき，同地に西進し，また1552年アルタン･ハーンのオイラート族攻撃の結果ハンガイ山脈方面に広がり，現在のハルハの分布に近づいていった。…
