…Important commentators after Vasubandhu include Dignaga, Abhayana, An'ne, Dharmapala, Kaishen, and Dharmakirti. There was a conflict between the formless consciousness school, which followed Vasubandhu → Abhayana → True Truth, and the formless consciousness school, which began with Dignaga and connected Abhayana → Abhayana → Kaishen → Xuanzang. The ideas of this consciousness school were brought to China, and three schools were established: the Jishū school, the Sesshū school (the lineage of True Truth), and the Fasso school (the lineage of Xuanzang). …
