Japanese: 賀殿 - かてん

Gagaku. Left side. Ichikotsu chord. Shingaku. Four-person dance. During the Jowa era ( 834-848 ), Fujiwara Sadatoshi, an envoy to the Tang Dynasty, introduced this piece as a biwa piece, and the dance was composed by Hayashi no Makura . Kansengaku. Kashogadengaku. *Murasaki Shikibu Diary (around 1010) October 16, Kanko 5th year, "Dances such as Banzairaku, Taiheiraku, and Katen." [Additional note] "Kyokumonsho-Ichi" states that this piece has a secret meaning called "Saraituki" and is not easy to perform.

雅楽。左方。壱越(いちこつ)調。新楽。四人舞。承和年間（八三四‐八四八）遣唐使藤原貞敏が琵琶(びわ)曲で伝え、舞は林真倉(はやしのまくら)が作ったという。甘泉楽。嘉祥賀殿楽。※紫式部日記（1010頃か）寛弘五年一〇月一六日「万歳楽、太平楽、かてんなどいふ舞ども」[補注]「教訓抄‐一」には、この曲には「さらゐつき」という秘事があり、たやすく奏されるものではなかったことが記される。
