〘名〙① 中世、請所(うけしょ)の契約を結んだ地頭、名主らが毎年領家に納めた年貢のこと。代償として、請所は下地支配の全権を委譲された。請口(うけくち)。※吾妻鏡‐文治二年(1186)七月二八日「河肥事者、請所也。但領主幼少之間、如二請一事、殊有二不法事一歟」② 中世、田畑の耕作・経営を請負った名主、作人らが、定期的あるいは不定期に、領主に納めた請負料。一種の礼金。※高野山文書‐天治二年(1125)七月一三日・金剛峰寺官省符荘住人等解「有二犯過一輩所領田畠令二收公一、給二本家政所一、召二請料一、被レ充二行於要人一、永伝二子孫一、不朽所レ令二領知一也」
