...The northern part is on the southwestern slope of the Sefuri Mountains, and the southern part is a mountain village that occupies the northern edge of the Tianshan mountain range. The rivers flowing through the mountains join together to form the Tamashima River, which flows west and enters Hamatama Town. On the ridge of Ukidake (Yoshii Mountain, 805m) on the border with Fukuoka Prefecture, there are Shiraki Pass and Arakawa Pass, which have long been passes connecting Hizen and Chikuzen.
