...This became the basis of the Hollywood film production system, and all the world's film studios, including Cinecittà in Italy, which was built by Mussolini, and Mosfilm in the Soviet Union, adopted this system. In 1926, R. Ingram (1892-1950), the director who made Valentino a big star, discovered the same sunlight as California in Nice in the south of France, and built a film studio, Studio de la Victorine, using the same system as Hollywood. Later, French masterpieces such as Enfants d'Arte, were shot here, and the title of F. Truffaut's film, La Nuit Americana, which was set at this studio, is an expression unique to French film terminology, meaning "tsubushi" (pseudo-night view), meaning "night view shot in the American film style." ...
