Iwaonupuri

A lava dome (bell-shaped volcano) belonging to the Niseko volcanic group, an active volcano in western Hokkaido. Also known as Iouzan. Elevation 1,116m. Located on the border between Kutchan Town and Rankoshi Town. The summit is divided into two domes, O-Iwaonupuri in the east and Ko-Iwaonupuri in the west, and there are explosion craters at the top and southern foot of O-Iwaonupuri. 北海道西部，活火山のニセコ火山群に属する溶岩円頂丘（鐘状火山）。別称硫黄山。標高 1116m。倶知安町と蘭越町の境に位置する。頂部は東の大イワオヌプリ，西の小イワオヌプリの二つの円頂丘に分かれ，大イワオヌプリの頂部と南麓には爆裂火口がある。
