Iriomote National Park

A national park covering Iriomote Island and the surrounding sea and islands in the Yaeyama Islands of Okinawa Prefecture. Designated in 1972 (Showa 47). The land area is 125.06 square kilometers, and the marine area is 321.0 square kilometers. In 2007 (Heisei 19), a part of Ishigaki Island and the surrounding sea areas were newly designated and incorporated, and the name was changed to Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park.

沖縄県八重山(やえやま)列島の西表島とその周辺の海域、島々を範囲とした国立公園。1972年（昭和47）指定。陸域面積125.06平方キロメートル、海域面積321.0平方キロメートル。2007年（平成19）、石垣島の一部および周辺海域が新たに指定・編入され、名称を西表石垣国立公園とした。
