Formwork - Katawaku (English) form

A temporary structure that acts as a mold to create a concrete or reinforced concrete structure in a specified shape and size during construction work. When the concrete poured into the formwork hardens and reaches the required strength, the formwork is removed.

建設工事においてコンクリートまたは鉄筋コンクリート構造物を所定の形状、寸法につくるための鋳型の役目をする仮設工作物。型枠の中に打設したコンクリートが硬化し、所要の強度に達すると、型枠は撤去される。
