Born on January 8, 1931. Granddaughter of Takahama Kyoshi. Second daughter of Takahama Toshio. Married to Inabata Junzo. After her father's death in 1979, she presided over the magazine "Hototogisu". Following in the footsteps of her grandfather, who advocated poems about flowers and birds, she founded the Japan Traditional Haiku Association in 1987 and became its president. In 2013, she handed over the presidency of "Hototogisu" to her eldest son, Inabata Kotaro (Koutaro), and became its honorary presidency. Originally from Kanagawa Prefecture.
