...The Chichibu clan of the Kanmu Heishi clan. It began when Shigenari, the third son of Oyamada Ariyoshi, ruled Inage Manor and called himself Inage Saburo. Shigenari followed Minamoto no Yoritomo from the beginning of his uprising, and became a powerful vassal through his military achievements. On the other hand, he was a devoted husband, and when his wife died of illness, he could not bear the grief of separation and became a monk. He spent a huge amount of money to build a bridge over the Sagami River for her memorial service.
