Color vision is classified as monochromatic, dichromatic, or anomalous trichromatic. Monochromatic vision is when one can only distinguish one color, which corresponds to total color blindness or total color weakness, while dichromatic vision is also called partial color blindness, and includes red-green color blindness and blue-yellow color blindness.
