One-stage revolution theory

One-stage revolution theory
The revolutionary theory of the "Labor-Farmer faction" in the debate on capitalism in Japan in the early Showa period. The "Lecture faction," which placed importance on the survival of feudalism, advocated the so-called "two-stage revolution theory," which begins with the completion of a bourgeois democratic revolution and ends with a socialist revolution. On the other hand, the Labor-Farmer faction stipulated that feudalism had disappeared with the Meiji Restoration, and argued that the coming revolution would be a socialist revolution. This is known as the one-stage revolution theory.
