Stable angina

Stable angina

...In 1768, William Heberden (1710-1801) of England described in detail the relationship between angina attacks and the heart, but at that time the distinction between angina pectoris and myocardial infarction was not yet clear, and angina pectoris was considered to include myocardial infarction accompanied by necrosis of the myocardium.
[kinds]
Angina pectoris is classified into exertional angina, rest angina, and associated angina depending on the trigger of the attack. It is classified into variant angina based on the characteristics of the electrocardiogram, and into stable angina and unstable angina based on the severity and frequency of attacks. Variant angina is usually vasospastic angina caused by strong contraction of the coronary arteries.
