A typical example of ancient Spanish pottery. It had large, wing-like ears on both sides (now only one ear). It is a large, pointed-bottomed vase, 1.2m high, with Arabic decorative characters in Kufic script and arabesque patterns painted all over it. It is a 14th century work that is a precursor to Hispano-Moresque, and is made with a blue-green glaze and a luster glaze. It is thought to have been made in Seville or Malaga. It was given this name because it was in the Alhambra, and is currently kept in the Museum of Spanish Ancient Art in Madrid.
