Aldoxime

Japanese: アルドキシム（英語表記）aldoxime

Also called aldoxime. Produced by condensation of hydroxylamine and aldehyde. It is a substance that easily crystallizes and is easily hydrolyzed with inorganic acids to return to the raw material, so it is used to purify and confirm aldehydes. It can also produce primary amines when reduced, and secondary amines can also be produced as by-products. There are two stereoisomers, called syn- and anti-forms. The syn-form can be converted to a nitrile by the addition of a dehydrating agent.

アルドオキシムともいう。ヒドロキシルアミンとアルデヒドとの縮合によって生成される。結晶しやすい物質で，無機酸により容易に加水分解され原料に戻るので，アルデヒドの精製，確認に利用される。また還元すると第一アミンを生じ，第二アミンを副生することもある。2種の立体異性体があり，シン形，アンチ形と呼ばれる。シン形は脱水剤によりニトリルに変化する。
