Amapo - Amapo

Japanese: アマポ - あまぽ
Amapo - Amapo

...These workplaces are collectively called "iol", and certain points within the iol are exclusively owned by certain families and inherited (according to the lineage of ekasi-ikiri). Special points include places for attaching amapo (trapped bows) for bear and deer stalking fences, winter caves for bears, sowing areas for sikina (cattails), agricultural land, places for setting traps, locations of temporary huts for spearfishing, and places for hanging huts for sea fishing on the coast. Except for these special points, the iol shared by a kotan or several kotans is shared by the people of the kotan, and anyone can hunt, fish, or gather there, but those from other areas are not allowed to engage in these productive activities.
