Oil paints
〘 noun 〙 Paint used for painting oil paintings ③. It is made by mixing pigments, mainly mineral, then vegetable, and rarely animal, with drying vegetable oils such as linseed oil, poppy oil, or turpentine. [Oranda Jiui (1855-58)]
